NEW LOOKS FROM NEW MAN
Louis Vuitton’s new creative director, Nicholas Ghesquiere, comes through with a hit. He was quickly adored by Anna Wintour and Raf Simons which speaks volumes on Mr. Ghesquiere’s part for being able to feel Marc Jacobs shoes so superbly. The looks take me back to 1996 fashion and the styling just makes everything come to life. He definitely mirrored and got inspiration from Burberry and Saint Laurent. The handbags take me back to a time when lady’s where lady’s and dressed conservatively & posh. Everything at the same time is today and I could see on all celebrities today’s street wear. I’m looking forward to more work!
I’ve created new jeans for my custom clothing line and decided to grab some clothes and my friend to do a little alley and wall shoot in South Philadelphia!

ALL WRAPPED UP IN DVFThis Fall/Winter collection marked the 40th Anniversary to Diane Von Furstenberg’s iconic wrap dress. Throughout the year the patterns and materials have shaped but the concept as remain true to form. This collection also seems to really reflect the look of the very first set of wrap dresses which is amazing. Everyone is obsessed with vintage and being able to dip into your own vault for ideas is amazing. In the words of Diane Von Furstenberg “Feel like a woman, wear a dress!”
STEP INTO THE FUTURE BUT NOT FORGETTING YOUR LEGACY !
Knock out all prejudgement of what you think Coach has to offer. Stuart Vevers shook up Coach brand with oversized leathers, fur trim wedges, & fun patterns. The collection is definitely for the youth and you can see Coach trying to step out the dark ages. The fedora’s and boyfriend fit shirts give me Saint Laurent. Burberry and Zara so has an influence on this show and it’s clothes. As creative director, Stuart Vevers, took 70’s trends & classic Coach legacy bags with a modern twist to produce an amazing fashion experience. Vevers most known for creating bags for Givenchy and Mulberry. Overall i’m so happy with the changes to Coach and look forward to more collections from Mr. Vevers.
Emilio Pucci has turn signature patterns and prints into a fashion forward autumn collection. The clothes are definitely targeting a younger women with the jumpers and lengths of the clothing but it’s so sophisticated older women can enjoy it too. I love this and always look forward to Pucci’s pre-fall wear.
BCBG IS LUXURY
BCBG Max Azria kicked of NYFW with polished ready wear looks for fashion forward women of today. Four major things to take note on from this collection.
1. White looks better worn in winter !
2. Fur goes with everything !
3. Color blocking won’t go away !
4. Real leather is better faux
The collection seems to tell a story from the boots to chucky sweaters. I feel a sense of menswear touching this collection not just by the fit but also the color and style. The show is bright and not much like winter a color at all. I love the everything from the choice of hair and styling on the runway.
RISING OF A FASHION GIANT
Past winner of Project Runway, Zac Posen, teamed up with David’s Bridal for an exquisite wedding & evening event wear. The collection Truly Zac Posen gives a fresh take on old Hollywood glamour for the everyday women’s budget. The wedding gowns sculpted the women’s frame from sizes 1-26 and prices ranging from $850-1350. The evening event dress which may upstage any bride or make you the life of the party at any event, have a sophisticated color pilot with little details that can capture attention. The dresses are so phenomenal and with a range of $195-225 all women can enjoy. The collaboration says a lot for both brands. For David’s Bridal, it could catapult from commercial to upscale & couture. Zac Posen is basically writing the how to on becoming famous & successful and sustaining that success. Mr. Posen’s longevity will grow based how he continues to brand himself and grow with collections. One his invest include P. Diddy, CEO of Bad Boy Ent. which says a lot for a fashion designer to get backing from a hip-hop mogul. His clients list include Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna, Cameron Diaz, and Kim Kardashian.
DOA TO HANNAH MONTANA
Miley Cyrus is slaying the latest issue of W Magazine. She’s saying final go bye’s to her Disney character and embraces true women hood. The amazing Edward styled her in Balmain spring 14. I love the blonde hair and eyebrows, she’s almost unrecognizable but she’s amazing !
Rihanna has been looking absolutely stunning in everything lately. The looks have been simple and effortless. Make-up and hair pretty normal but I love it.

Miley Cyrus is really shaking the world of music. She was honored by MTV to do an unplugged set and she did an epic duet with Madonna. It’s nice to see so many types of artist & producers support Miley but most of all the queen of pop. Madonna embraces the new young pop star and performs with her. Not to mention Miley was in custom DIY Chanel and Madonna in glitter & studded cowgirl attire looking amazing.
